Nightmare....
Just placed my first order with them and the system is crazy. After applying the ICESIXOFF £6 discount the order total was £55.50. I then had to go back online to add some delivery details and one item value £6 was out of stock so I deleted it (this is what I always do with Tesco) but the total stayed the same because, even though the order total was still over £45, the £6 discount had been deleted. There's no advice on the website about this. I've just wasted 18 minutes holding on their 0800 number - all I got was the piped music and recorded messages. Not a very good start!
Iceland if you want to follow this up it's order ref: 241917533 I've cancelled it now, there are plenty of other places I can shop.
Thank you, Iceland, for making the over 60's discount easy
When leaving the food Warehouse by Iceland last week, I noticed that over sixties could save 10 percent of their shopping.
Returning this week, I forgot to take photo ID to prove my age. I'd remember it next time.
However, when at the checkout, the cashier said 'your discount has been applied'!
I thought she meant product discounts, but on looking at the receipt my 10 percent over sixty discount had been applied, automatically.
Thank you, Iceland, and a big well done for making getting the discount easy.
When I need frozen food, and in the area, The Food Warehouse/Iceland will be my go-to store.

Won’t Use Again
I don’t normally order from Iceland but they kept sending me a voucher to shop with them so I thought I’d get a few bits in between my regular shop for the heatwave. I’ve ordered from them twice before a couple of years ago so knew to expect a few missing items and substitutes. Order was booked for Sunday between 12pm and 2pm. By 2.15pm the shopping still hadn’t arrived so I checked the status online which said it had been delivered! I rang customer service only to be told the lines were busy but I waited as I was worried my shop had been delivered to the wrong address. 35 minutes later I finally got through to talk to somebody. The stars are for him, he would get five if I were marking the service I received from him alone as he was excellent - very apologetic, polite and helpful and quickly found out what was going on for me. Turns out our local store was having trouble getting drivers so were running very late. I wouldn’t have minded that if I’d just been told beforehand that they were running late and not wrongly told it had already been delivered and got me in a tizz! So I waited and waited and it finally arrived at about 4pm. Then as I was putting the shopping away (there were missing items and substitutes as I expected, but I did get told about them) I realised three of the frozen items had totally defrosted, one of these being ice cream cones which were a mushy mess. All in all, it wasn’t a good shopping experience and I’m still waiting to hear if I can get my money back for the ruined defrosted items.

I ordered for Sunday just gone for slot it was awful I wanted to enjoy my day off but kept running in and out the garden ,they never arrived till after 3pm and when putting shopping away the ice lollies had all melted. The guy was lovely and very apologetic, I just wished they had phoned me to explain and I could have had the option to cancel. Won't be ordering again soon.

First time I’ve used Iceland for an online shop and it was a success. Went online and did the 10 for £10 offer and added a few other bits to take me to the amount required. I picked my delivery slot and received messages to confirm it had been picked and delivery time. The order was delivered all correctly and within the delivery slot, very happy and will definitely use them again. 👍🏻

Weres my disabled elderly mums shopping?
Did a £40 shop to stock up before the heat wave for my disabled mum who's 80,extra bottles water, ice creams etc, picked the slot allocated as I would be around cleaning and cooking for her, I work fulltime and have a family so time is precious, no sign of delivery and spent 40 mins trying to get through to customer service who said the shop wasn't answering the phone and she'll email them?! Monday morning I'm at work soon and mum's alone till carer's at midday so if shopping is delivered no one there to open the door, shocking will never use them again.
Farewell, Iceland!
I've used Iceland every week for several years but have now left. I use Ocado now - a bit dearer but well worth it in terms of quality and service. Iceland sadly have stopped listening to what their customers need and want, and any communication with them is replied to with just a 'stock' reply. Our drivers were always lovely but the rest of the service is now very poor indeed,

Disgusting
New Addington website states you can book a delivery for Sunday, so I did. My slot for today between 5-7pm inc a £6 charge. I have advanced arthritis in my left hip so my mobility is very limited especially if i have to carry a heavy shopping bag hence my delivery.
Received an email at 17,12 confirming delivery money has been taken from my account.
At 19.19pm there is still no delivery and nobody is answering my calls!
Bloody disgusting - I will be demanding a refund tomorrow morning!

World Famous Bistro.
I tried a pack of "World Famous Braised Steak in Gravy". Tasty but mostly gravy with a tiny portion of beef, about 2 to 3oz. Certainly not good value.

The delivery driver was trying so hard to carry my shopping in the new bags, stuff kept falling out as they are scoop shaped
I had a delivery today and the new bags are absolutely useless the poor man had two accidents with the tinned shopping falling out of the bags as I am 80 I could not help him.
I will stop shopping online at Iceland unless I get a good reason from Iceland on using these flimsy bags.
